Local · No uploads

Decrypt NetEase Cloud Music .ncm files back into MP3 or FLAC in your browser, with song title, artist, album, and cover art restored automatically. No installation, no upload — everything runs locally on your device.

Quick Answers

  • The tool restores whatever codec is inside the NCM file: MP3 output gets ID3 tags (title, artist, album, cover), while FLAC content is exported losslessly as-is.
  • Decryption runs entirely in your browser — neither the source file nor the result is ever uploaded to a server.

How to Decrypt NCM Files

  1. 1

Batch-upload .ncm files downloaded from the NetEase Cloud Music app (multiple selection supported)

  2. 2

Song title, artist, album, and cover are detected automatically

  3. 3

Click Decrypt and wait for it to finish

  4. 4

Download the restored MP3 or FLAC file

Common Uses

  • Convert encrypted downloads into standard formats any player can open
  • Keep title, artist, album, and cover tags to organize your music library
  • Export FLAC content losslessly with zero quality loss

Things to Know

  • Only .ncm files from NetEase Cloud Music are supported
  • FLAC content is exported as FLAC; use the Audio Converter page to re-encode to MP3
  • Decryption preserves the original quality and cannot increase the source bitrate

Choosing an NCM Converter

  • vs. desktop scripts: no Python or dependencies to install — just open the page
  • vs. upload-based tools: files stay on your device, making it private and faster
  • vs. general audio converters: this page specializes in NCM decryption with full metadata

How NCM Encryption Works

  • NCM encrypts an RC4 key with AES-ECB, then XORs the audio stream byte-by-byte with a keyBox; the browser rebuilds the same keystream to decrypt.
  • After decryption the file header reveals the real codec (MP3/FLAC); MP3 output gets an ID3v2.3 tag with title, artist, album, and cover art.

NCM to MP3 FAQ

Which NCM files are supported?

Encrypted .ncm audio downloaded from the NetEase Cloud Music client, with embedded MP3 or FLAC.

Does decryption upload my file?

No. Everything runs locally in your browser; the file never leaves your device.

Why is the output FLAC instead of MP3?

The tool restores the codec embedded in the NCM file. VIP songs are usually FLAC and are exported losslessly; use the Audio Converter page if you need MP3.

Are tags and cover art preserved?

MP3 output gets an ID3 tag with title, artist, album, and cover. FLAC output is exported without tags for now; add them later with any tag editor.

What is an NCM file?

NCM is NetEase Cloud Music’s encrypted audio container. It contains MP3 or FLAC, and decryption restores the original codec.

Can I convert multiple NCM files at once?

Yes. Select several .ncm files during upload, then download each result or save all successful outputs as a ZIP.
