It lets the crop box extend beyond the image boundary; the overflow renders as transparency (PNG required). Useful when you need padding or a fixed canvas size — the image itself can't be moved entirely out of frame.
Will cropping or compressing change the orientation?
No. Original orientation is preserved — portrait photos stay portrait after editing.
Is batch processing supported?
